Life- as I’ve Learned

I gamble with nothing

But my life.

Betting on its zenith

And nadir is never

A choice…but

 A necessity

Walking in air or

Walking on fire

Is an outcome

Of decision involuntary

Or not

Finding the crooked way

Is easy- which

I have learned,

Will eventually lead to

 A rain soaked misery

Abject days and

Sleepless nights are

Fruits of

Skyrocketing pride

Tears fall reluctantly

With wounded expectations.
